Patrick Brown

Patrick Brown is a communications and business development professional with a diverse professional background with experience in marketing, communications, business development, and strategic leadership. He earned dual degrees from the University of Vermont in Economics and Political Science.
In his capacity as a founding partner of Confluence, Patrick takes on the role of admissions contact, managing relationships with families and individuals interested in enrollment and referral partners. His leadership responsibilities at Confluence extend to the supervision of staff, program development and management, and overseeing the company's outreach and marketing strategies.
Patrick enjoys working directly with families, young adults and referring professionals navigating the often challenging process of identifying treatment options. His commitment is evident in the conversations with young adults during the admissions process, where he helps young adults and their families manage the stressors associated with choosing the best treatment options for them. Patrick finds fulfillment in engaging with families and young adults while offering guidance through an often difficult decision and process. Patrick's empathic and relational approach and commitment to easing the complexities of the admissions journey underscore his dedication to positively impacting the lives of those he works with.
Patrick is committed to giving back and fostering collaboration within his professional community. He serves on the board of the Young Adult Transition Association. Volunteering his time is an opportunity to engage with, learn from, and support colleagues in their shared work. Beyond his professional pursuits, his interests include skiing and sailing, and he is equally at home in the Green Mountains near his home and on the waters of Lake Champlain. He lives in the Mad River Valley of Vermont with his wife and dog.
