The Joint Commission
Confluence is accredited by The Joint Commission, the leading healthcare accreditation organization. Achieving this accreditation requires Confluence to undergo thorough evaluations, ensuring the program meets rigorous standards that enhance safety and treatment effectiveness. It is representative of our commitment to providing the highest quality of care.

Young Adult Transition Association
YATA promotes young adult residential treatment and transition programs that support issues and practices of common interests and enhance the quality of care for young adults and their families. YATA provides a forum for collaboration on issues of mutual concern, including young adult issues, operational issues, education, advocacy and other aspects related to providing young adult transitional services.
Vermont Agency Of Human Services
Confluence is a state-licensed mental health treatment provider and receives regular oversight from the Vermont Agency of Human Services. Everything from the temperature of tap water, to medical records, to staff background checks is monitored by our licensing agency. Confluence intentionally sought licensure when opening to meet and exceed standards of care. Additionally, licensure provides important outside oversight, recognition of the healthcare we are providing and for health insurance coverage purposes.
United State Forest Service
At Confluence we like to be outdoors and when we are not exploring our 125-acre property we are often using public lands managed by the United States Forest Service. Confluence has a special use permit to access public lands in the Green Mountain National Forest and to guide particpants in these spaces. The partnership with the USFS supports our programming and also reflects our commitments to be conscientious users and stewards of our public lands and natural environments.
